a Carl Jackson Motion Picture

Twenty-something lawyer Veronica and her freelance photographer husband, Darnell, would seem to have it all: love, money and happiness. But time has changed their partnership, and Veronica now finds herself at a crossroads. The movie stars new actors Martrell Upton and Jennifer Brinker. The film was written for Karen Malina White with Director Carl Jackson as the co-lead. But, on the week of production, investors bailed. With crew coming as far as Chicago to shoot in San Diego Ca, Carl was faced with a decision: shut down production or fund the project himself. Dazed and confused Carl called producer Stacey Buckner to insist that they shut down production, but she would not take the order. Carls next call was to Karen Malina White, who understood, but option to walk away hours before production was to start. Carl decided in order to make a film happen he had to re-cast and not play the lead as he would have to focus on re-writes and directing. Stacey called Carl and ask him to take a look at a couple of people who had sent in pictures to be extras. When Carl saw them he knew he had found the stars for his motion picture. Within hours, Martrell Upton and Jennifer Brinker were cast as the lead and on set shooting a script that was being re-written in real time. With new comers Esquire Duke, Ceci Parker, and Brittanie Hitchcock the film came off without any problems. The original music score was done by Curtis Dean of Austin Texas, Director of Photography by xRay Vision edited by Lakrishi Kindred in Los Angeles Ca, and sound mix was done at Ray Hall Recording Studios in Dallas Texas.
